Chicken Noodle Soup

I've made about a thousand different soups, but until yesterday I had yet to make a basic chicken noodle soup. I typically add more veggies, and to be completely honest I meant to add kale. I still absolutely loved how this soup turned out, and if you are wanting more veggies you could always eat this with a side dish!

Ingredients:

1 cup shredded chicken (I used a rotisserie chicken)

1/4 white onion chopped

1/2 tbsp. avocado oil

1 clove minced garlic

1.5 pints organic chicken bone broth (linked the one I use here, used the whole bag)

1/2 lemon juiced

1 cup rotini noodles

1/4 tsp. oregano

1/8 tsp. basil

1/8 tsp. parsley

Instructions:

In a dutch oven, warm the avocado oil over medium high heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté for about 5 minutes or until onion becomes translucent. Pour in bone broth and bring to a boil. Add in noodles and let boil for about 7 minutes, stirring often. Add in chicken, lemon, oregano, parsley, and basil. Bring down to a simmer for about 5 more minutes. Removed from heat and enjoy!
