If you have been around for a while you know I am a big fan incorporating medicinal mushrooms into my routine. As crazy as it sounds, they are known to have many benefits to the body. If this is news to you, it might be weird to think about having mushrooms in your tea! So let’s go into a little background of some of the mushrooms and how you can incorporate them into your routine.

There are lots of different mushrooms with some really cool names! Chaga, lion’s mane, maitake, and reishi - just to name a few. Each of them are known to provide different benefits. Chaga is known to have digestive benefits and provide energy support, lion’s mane is known to offer clarity and improve focus, maitake is known to increase alertness and concentration, and reishi is known to reduce stress and offer sleep support. Many of them also offer immune support and contain antioxidants. Woo - that’s a lot to take in, but these are some of the mushrooms used in Tamim Teas!

While this is all awesome, it’s important to pay attention to the source of the mushrooms as well. Tamim Teas sources their mushrooms from local, American grown, organic family farms. The mushrooms are sustainably sourced and handcrafted in small batches. They are then paired perfectly with herbs to make delicious, caffeine free, teas. This form of sourcing ensures a traditional approach to consuming the mushrooms and aligns with ancient traditions of eastern medicine. People have been drinking mushrooms teas for their health for centuries, but with that comes some downfalls in today's day in age where everyone wants things fast at their fingertips. Tamim Teas takes no shortcuts, and ensures they are using the highest quality ingredients in their teas.

As I type this I am sipping on the Chaga Chai blend, and let me tell you - it is so cozy! I have always been a huge fan of chai, and I can taste just the right amount of each spice in this one. A beautiful blend of chaga, cinnamon, ginger, cardamon, and red rooibos. It also has turmeric which is great for fighting inflammation in the body! I was thrilled to partner with Tamim Teas for this post. Liat, the founder, is so personable and kind - I truly believe you can feel the vibration of the food from where it comes from and this is a good vibe company for sure. I’ve linked the teas here, and on my product page as well for you to check out!
