Gluten Free Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

IMG_0782.JPG

You guys loved the GF matcha donuts so much that I decided to make another flavor! These cinnamon sugar donuts turned out perfectly doughy and I love the flavor of them. These are such a fun treat for a brunch or special occasion. I also personally think they would be divine dipped in your morning cup of coffee. If you're in need of a donut pan to make these in, I suggest using this Zulay Kitchen pan! Let me know what you think of this flavor!

Ingredients:

Donut Batter:

1/4 cup room temp. butter

1/4 cup melted coconut oil

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1 3/4 cups gluten free all purpose flour

1 cup oat milk

Glaze:

2 tbsp. oat milk

2 tsp. arrowroot powder

1/4 tsp. vanilla

Cinnamon Sugar: 1/4 cup sugar

1 tbsp. cinnamon

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 425°F. In a large bowl mix together the butter, oil, and sugars using a hand mixer. Add in the eggs and continue mixing. Add in the vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, 1 cup of the flour and the oat milk and continue to mix. Add in the second cup of flour and blend until smooth. Using a piping tool place the batter in donut pans. I was able to make a total of 12 donuts with the batter. Bake for 12 minutes.

In a small dish whisk together the oat milk, arrowroot powder, and vanilla for the glaze. On a large plate mix up the sugar and cinnamon.

When the donuts are done let them cool in the trays for 10 minutes. Place them on a cooling sheet and let them cool about 5 more minutes. One by one, brush the donuts with the glaze and then place in the plate of cinnamon sugar, covering the donut evenly. Devour!!!
