Frankenstein Rice Krispies
These Frankenstein Rice Krispies are just the spookiest little treats! I love going all out for Halloween. I know it’s not for everyone, but growing up it was always so fun in my household so it’s very nostalgic for me. I remember so many fun costumes and parties growing up. The decorations and treats are just so fun to me! I knew I had to make these this year for my family, and they were a huge hit!

Frankenstein Rice Krispies
These Frankenstein Rice Krispies are the spookiest little Halloween treat! They are so fun, but more importantly, super delicious.
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cups mini marshmallows
- Green food coloring
- 4 cups puffed rice cereal
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- White decorating icing
- Sugar eyeballs (got mine from Target)
- 12 Hershey kisses or mini Reece’s cups
Instructions
- Melt butter over low medium heat in a pot. Add marshmallows and stir continuously until they are melted.
- Add a few drops of green food coloring. Stir in the puffed rice cereal.
- Shape the Frankenstein heads and place on parchment paper (I was able to make 6).
- Melt the chocolate chips in a pot. Dip the top of each Rice Krispie onto the chocolate (optional to chop more chocolate and sprinkle on top).
- Use the icing to stick the eyes on, draw a mouth, and stick the mini Reece’s cups on the side as bolts (I ran out and had to use kisses, I just cut them in half).
