Ranch BLT Sliders

Football season is backkkk! Okay full transparency I could not care less about sports, but I do love appetizers. Also football season means cooler weather ahead. There’s something so nostalgic about having football on in the background, chili on the stovetop, and a crisp breeze in the air. Ugh, just the best.

That brings me to these ranch blt sliders! I have always love a good blt sammie, but I wanted to take them up a notch with the sweet flavor of Hawaiian rolls and added some ranch… because who doesn’t love ranch. These sliders are so easy to make, and they are sure to be a crowd pleaser. Even if you don’t have much time you can definitely whip these up to bring to the next tailgate party! Ranch BLT Sliders

Ranch BLT sliders are a twist on a classic! This version is great served as an appetizer that the whole crowd will love. Lots of flavor from the sweet Hawaiian rolls, crispy bacon, melted Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, ranch, and a parsley & basil butter sauce. What more could you want?!

Ingredients

  • 1 12 pack of Hawaiian Rolls
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 6 pieces of bacon
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce
  • 2 cocktail tomatoes
  • Ranch dressing
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp. dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp. dried basil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°. Place bacon on a foil lined baking sheet. Bake for ~19 minutes or until the bacon is crispy. (Note: check after ~15 minutes, it can bake faster or slower depending on the cut).
  2. After the bacon is baked and crispy, transfer it to a paper towel lined plate and dab off the extra grease.
  3. Melt 4 tbsp. butter in a microwave safe dish. After it's melted mix in dried parsley and basil.
  4. Cut tops of Hawaiian rolls off and place the bottom half of the rolls in a casserole dish. Brush the bread with half of the butter mixture. Layer on cheese and bacon, and then place the tops of the rolls back on. Brush the rest of the butter mixture on top of the rolls. Cover with foil and place in an oven preheated to 325° for 15 minutes.
  5. Wash and chop the lettuce, and slice the tomatoes.
  6. When you remove the rolls from the oven take the top layer back off. Add on the lettuce, tomatoes, and ranch. Place tops back on and use a knife to cut the sandwiches.
  7. Enjoy fresh!
