Mushroom & Prosciutto Pizza with Arugula & Hot Honey

Okay okay okay…. I know what you might be thinking, another pizza?! It’s true, yes, I am obsessed with pizza. I honestly eat it probably once a week, but to be fair it’s so versatile and who doesn’t love cheese mixed with other toppings on top of bread?! That’s what I thought.

In all seriousness, I actually don’t love “take out” pizza that much. You can catch me making a frozen pizza when I need a very quick weeknight meal, or if I have a little bit of time it’s also super easy to make a bombbbb homemade pizza. I must admit, I don’t make my own crust. I always get crust from Trader Joe’s or Wegmans, and you know what - it’s great! And saves me a lot of time.

I’ve made many different versions of homemade pizza, but dare I say this one might be my favorite?! This baby is loaded with flavor. Starting with the garlic base. I mean it literally has a whole head of roasted garlic mashed together with some olive oil and herbs… drool. We’ve also got two different cheeses, veggies, prosciutto, and to tie it all together topped it with hot honey. MMMM, it’s so good. You can find the video for this recipe here.

  3. Roll out pizza dough to fit a 13x18” greased baking dish.
  4. Pour on garlic/olive oil mix and use a brush to spread out all over crust.
  5. Add mushrooms, prosciutto, and cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 400°.
  6. While it’s baking mix arugula with lemon juice and olive oil.
  7. As soon as the pizza comes out of the oven add the arugula, parmesan cheese, and hot honey. Best served fresh!
