Chocolate Chip Cinnamon Bread

I’m typing this on the way back to DC from KY and man it felt good to take off a whole week for the holidays. No emails, no work, just quality time with friends and family. It was even a white Christmas! I couldn’t tell you last time that happened. The magic of Christmas and the much needed rest I got has definitely rejuvenated me going into the new year. I’m already brainstorming new recipes, but in the meantime I have to get this chocolate chip cinnamon bread posted!

This bread is so easy to make but tastes like it came straight from a bakery (your house will smell like one too). This bread is great for dessert, but I also love it warmed up in the morning with a cup of coffee. It’s super fluffy and the best part… it has a layer of cinnamon sugar in the middle! Yum. You must serve it with a little bit of butter!

Greek yogurt + coconut oil - This recipe calls for Greek yogurt and coconut oil, this makes the bread super moist and fluffy.

Vanilla - The bread has such a nostalgic taste, and I swear even the slightest bit of vanilla just adds to the flavor. Brings me right back to my grandmas recipes growing up.

Cinnamon sugar - The cinnamon sugar mixture is the key to this recipe. You will layer it in the middle and on top. When it’s done baking if any falls off just pat it on the sides of the bread.
